XponixAI is a Melbourne-based applied AI product studio, 100% Australian owned and working with generative AI since GPT-2 in 2019. We design, build and run AI platforms for government, education and enterprise, from a joint-venture product in the VET sector to retrieval systems over complex public-sector records.

In 2019 we got early access to GPT-2 and spent months experimenting with large language models. What we learned still shapes the company: AI is useful to serious organisations only when it is grounded in their own information, transparent in its reasoning and accountable to their standards.
So that is what we build. Systems that preserve the sources, versions and relationships behind an answer, that keep people in the decision, and that are designed, delivered and supported by a team that understands the environments they run in.

Sharaf is Director of XponixAI, with responsibility for strategy, partnerships and product direction. He founded XponixAI in 2020 and is also the founder of Skills Leap Australia.
